She’s back to once again show WHAT BAKING CAN DO as a star. Original Waitress the Musical on Broadway Ensemble member and understudy Stephanie Torns will once again take on the leading role of pregnant pie maker “Jenna Hunterson” fulltime on the Great White Way. This stint will be a limited 2 WEEK ENGAGEMENT at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre starting tonight, August 21st through September 2nd, 2018.

American Idol and Smash favorite Katherine McPhee (who previously played the role) took her final bow yesterday.

As previously announced, Nicolette Robinson Odom is set to join the hit Sara Bareilles musical starting September 4th, 2018. In addition, Robinson will also make history as the first African American actress to play “Jenna” on Broadway.

In addition with the incredible rave reviews for her performance going on for “Jenna”, there is already a set of petitions happening by fans begging to get Torns to star in the upcoming West End production of Waitress the Musical – London (set to open February 2019).
