And the Broadway goes JUMPIN', JUMPIN'! It has just been announced that a bio-jukebox musical of the Grammy Award winning R&B group Destiny's Child is in the works. The show (entitled SURVIVOR: THE DESTINY'S CHILD MUSICAL) will be directed, written, and produced by Je'Caryous Johnson and co-produced by Mathew Knowles (manager and co-creator of the group plus the Father of lead singer Beyonc? Knowles).
The show will center on Matthew Knowles (from his perspective) from humble beginnings, exploring the layers of evolution (both good and bad that he faced during his pioneering climb into the music industry), and how he created the worldwide smash hit group Destiny's Child on their rise to fame. Fans can expect to hear songs including…
