THE END IS COMING!! Due to disappointing low tickets, SpongeBob Broadway is set to close on September 16th, 2018 at the Palace Theatre. Following its final performance, the show will have played 29 previews and 327 regular performances.
Following the end of its Broadway run, the musical adaptation of the beloved Nickelodeon series will embark on a US National Tour. In addition, the rights will be available to produce the show in schools and youth groups early next year.
Probably THE WORST DAY EVER to hear such sad news about Broadway’s most fun NAUTICAL NONSENSE show ending?

ROLL EM’ for the last time ON THE STOOP of both BELMONT and WEBSTER AVENUES. Due to low ticket sales, A Bronx Tale The Musical is set to end its Broadway run at the Longacre Theatre on August 5th , 2018 after 29 previews and 700 regular performances.
Following its final bow, the show is set to embark on National Tour beginning this Fall 2018. It will launch in Rochester, NY before making its way to Los Angeles, Fort Lauderdale, and more cities all across North America.

YOU GET NOTHING, YOU LOOSE, GOOD DAY SIR!!! Due to dissaspointing low ticket sales, the musical adaptation of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory is set to close on Broadway on January 14th, 2018 at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre. Following it’s final bow, the musical will have played 27 previews and 305 regular performances on the Great White Way.
However, THE CANDY MAN is coming to bring PURE IMAGINATION to a city near you as the show will launch a US National Tour this Fall 2018.
So sad to see a great show close but CHEER UP CHARLIE. The show will live on across America and many productions to come.

BREAKING NEWS: The Tony nominated smash hit War Paint (starring 2 time Tony winners Patti LuPone and Christine Ebersole) will now end it’s Broadway run on November 5th, 2017 (instead of December 30th, 2017) at the Nederlander Theatre. The show is closing early due to LuPone having an immediate hip-replacement surgery. Following the closing, it will have run for 33 previews and 236 regular performances.
