GETTIN’ THE BAND BACK TOGETHER Sets September Closing on Broadway

BAND BROKEN UP!! Due to the worst reviews and low ticket sales, the new original musical comedy Gettin’ The Band Back Together is set to rock out of Broadway’s Belasco Theatre on September 16th, 2018. Following the final encore, the show will have only played 30 previews and 40 regular performances.

Kinky Boots announces West End closing date

CLOSING UP SHOP: The West End company of Kinky Boots The Musical is set to end its 3 year run. The Tony and Olivier Award winning Cyndi Lauper will close at London’s Adelphi Theatre on January 12th, 2019.

Even though the show is closing in London, you will still be able to take a trip to THE LAND OF LOLA in New York at Broadway’s Al Hirschfeld Theatre and an all new UK Tour set to launch this Fall 2018.

Broadway?s Sweat Announces Closing | Playbill


Today is bittersweet day as another one of this year’s Tony nominated smash plays (that walked home empty handed and had recent disappointing ticket sales) from this previous 2016-2017 season comes to an end.

Today, Lynn Nottage’s acclaimed play SWEAT on Broadway (which took home the Pulitzer Prize winner for Drama this year) will play it’s final performance at Studio 54 following 24 previews and 105 regular performances.

Up next for SWEAT will be Regional productions worldwide.

Congrats to the entire cast, crew, and creative team on an incredible journey from Pennsylvania to Off Broadway’s The Public Theater, to Broadway.

BYE BYE JERSEY! The curtain just went down for the Broadway production of the Tony, Grammy, and Olivier Award winning smash hit Jersey Boys for the final time after 11 years. Since the final curtain call, JERSEY BOYS has become the 12th Longest Running Show in Broadway History (surpassing the original Miss Saigon – Musical). If you didn’t get to see the show that is JUST TO GOOD TO BE TRUE at the August Wilson Theatre on Broadway, don’t worry. You can catch the National Tour still traveling across North America, in London’s West End (till March 27th, 2017) at the Piccadilly Theatre, and soon to launch a UK Tour later this year.

We were BEGGIN’ the company not to close it on Broadway!! Congratulations to the cast, crew, musicians, and creative team on a triumphant 11 year run. OH WHAT A RUN this has been!!!
