BWW TV: Wow, Wow, Wow! Watch Bernadette Peters Take Her First Official Bows in HELLO, DOLLY!

Tony Award winner Bernadette Peters and Tony Award nominee Victor Garber are BACK WHERE THEY BELONG on Broadway in this past year’s Tony winning revival of Hello, Dolly on Broadway.

Last night, the company had an official reopening night for the critics to see the new cast change as well as changes made into the production. Peters and Garber, along with Olivier Award nominee Charlie Stemp and newcomer Molly Griggs initially began their run last month January 20th, 2018.

The revival’s original cast members Tony winners Bette Midler and David Hyde-Pierce along with Taylor Trensch (now in Dear Evan Hansen) and Beanie Feldstein departed on January 14th, 2018.

Last night, two-time Tony Award celebrated her much anticipated return to Broadway as Dolly Gallagher Levi in the most successful and beloved production of the year, the Tony Award-winning Best Musical Revival of Hello, Dolly!.

Put on Your Sunday Clothes! Santino Fontana to Play Stint as Cornelius in Hello, Dolly!

BREAKING NEWS: Tony Award nominee Santino Fontana (Broadway’s Cinderella the Musical, Act One, the upcoming musical adaptation of Tootsie, and now best known as the voice of “Prince Hans” in Disney’s Frozen) will be joining the cast of the Tony winning revival of Hello, Dolly on Broadway next month.

Beginning March 13th, 2018 at the Shubert Theatre, Fontana will be temporary filling in for Tony Award winner Gavin Creel in the role of the passionate and bold chief clerk “Cornelius Hackl”. Creel will be going on a medical leave from the show due to a back injury.

No word has been made on how long Fontana will be staying or when Creel returns to the production.

Betty Buckley to lead US national tour of ‘Hello, Dolly!’

BREAKING NEWS: America, get ready to FEEL YOUR HEART COMING ALIVE AGAIN as Tony winning Broadway legend Betty Buckley (who we all grew up knowing as the original Broadway “Grizabella” in Cats the Musical) has been tapped to star as everyone’s favorite matchmaker on the upcoming National Tour of Hello, Dolly on Broadway.

This new National Tour of this past year’s Tony winning revival (currently still playing to packed houses 8 times a week at the Shubert Theatre) will officially launch in Cleveland, Ohio at Playhouse Square beginning this Fall 2018 (starting October 2nd, 2018).

FIRST LOOK: Get a first of Hello, Dolly on Broadway’s Taylor Trensch as he dons the Blue Stripped polo and cast as he gets ready to take over the title role in the Tony and Grammy winning smash hit Dear Evan Hansen starting February 6th, 2018 at the Music Box Theatre.

Trensch replaces The Real O’Neals’ Noah Galvin who takes his final bow this February 4, 2018.
