Mariand Torres (an alumni of the Emerald City 1st National Tour and the Broadway companies) will FLY HIGH going from serving as the standby to now graduating as a fulltime star taking over the role of the smart, fiery, and very misunderstood green faced "Elphaba",
Erin Mackey (an alumni of the sit-down Chicago, sit-down Los Angeles, and the Broadway company) will once again be riding the bubble as the POPULAR blonde "Glinda",
Curt Hansen (an alumni of the 1st National Tour and the Broadway company) will go DANCING THROUGH LIFE as the love interest "Fiyero",
and Tom Flynn (an alumni of the Emerald City1st National Tour, the sit-down Los Angeles company, the sit-down San Francisco company, and the Broadway company) will once again continue his teaching duties as everyone's favorite goat professor "Dr. Dillamond" (a role he's played for over 3,000 performances).
In addition, celebrated Theater actress Sharon Sachs (new to the world of WICKED) will take over the role of the mischievous "Madame Morrible".
Torres, Mackey, Hansen, Flynn, and Sachs are scheduled to begin their runs this Tuesday, February 26th, 2019 in Salt Lake City, UT at the Eccles Theater.
The touring production's current cast members Jackie Burns, Kara Lindsay, Jon Robert Hall, Chad Jennings, and Jody Gelb will all play their final performances on February 24th, 2019.

ON THE MARQUEE: The Broadway company of the Award winning BEWITCHING smash hit WICKED The Musical recently welcomed Broadway veteran Michael McCormick who took over the role of "The Wizard" earlier this week. In addition, Ryan McCartan returned the role of "Fiyero" after being out of the show for several months due to an injury.

THRILLIFYING NEWS: It's been a tease within the past few years but it now has been announced that the film adaptation of the Award winning Blockbuster smash hit WICKED The Musical is FINALLY happening. The film is scheduled to be released from Universal Pictures on December 22nd, 2021.
The new film adaptation of the Stephen Schwartz BEWITCHING musical about the 2 witches from The Wizard of Oz will be directed by Stephen Daldry and produced by Marc Platt. In addition, the new film is expecting to feature 2 new songs by Schwartz for the film.
Who COULDN'T BE HAPPIER that it's finally happening…. FOR GOOD?!!
