BREAKING NEWS: Andrew Lincoln has been tapped to star in The Old Vic Theatre's filmed livestream version of Jack Thorne's adaptation of the classic A Christmas Carol. The actor (known for his starring role as "Rick Grimes" on AMC's The Walking Dead) will star in the iconic role of the arrogant, grouchy, and rotten moneylender "Ebenezer Scrooge". This filmed performance of A CHRISTMAS CAROL will be part of The Old Vic's IN CAMERA series. Under the direction of Matthew Warchus, it will feature the entire production done on the Old Vic stage without a live audience. It will be done online LIVE for a strictly limited engagement from December 12th-24th, 2020 all in time for the holiday season.

Along with this livestreamed production, Jack Thorne's A CHRISTMAS CAROL will be making its way back across the pond to our Broadway backyard next year in 2021. At the same time, it will also embark on a North American National Tour as well.

Today, The Old Vic in London, England announced that Andrew Lincoln (AMC's The Walking Dead) will star as Ebenezer Scrooge in this year's OLD VIC: IN CAMERA version of Jack Thorne's A Christmas Carol.
