BREAKING NEWS: Award winning singer-songwriter Ingrid Michaelson is in love with the Great White Way. She made her ACTING Broadway Debut back in 2017 as "Sonya" in The Great Comet and now she is gearing to make her COMPOSSING Broadway Debut. The BE OKAY singer announced she is in the works of creating a musical adaptation of Nicholas Sparks' best-selling novel The Notebook.

Michaelson will be doing the score for the musical along with a book by This Is Us writer Bekah Brunstetter. In addition, it will be produced by Tony winner Kevin McCollum along with Kurt Deutsch and Nicholas Sparks.

THE NOTEBOOK tells the romantic story of a poor young man and a wealthy young woman who fall in love but are separate due to their differences in the 1940's during World War II. The novel was released in 1996 becoming a best-seller. It also became success as an acclaimed film released in 2004 starring Rachel McAdams and Ryan Gosling.
