During this time of Quarantine, we at New York Broadway Tours have been entertained by so many of Broadway's best giving impromptu performances from the comfort of their own homes. One of our favorite highlighted performances we've seen so far was a surprise reunion of the FULL ORIGINAL BROADWAY CAST of the STILL hottest ticket of them all….Hamilton.

During his YouTube web series Some Good News, Emmy Award nominated actor John Krasinski did something very special for one 9 year old superfan of Lin-Manuel Miranda's Award winning show. Disappointed to not see the show LIVE (on its National Tour in Jacksonville, Florida) due to many Theaters being abruptly shutdown because of the COVID-19 crisis, the young fan's mother did the most beautiful thing….

She tweeted to Lin Manuel Miranda himself before being passed onto Krasinski who planned the biggest surprise….

Miranda along with the full original cast consisting of Leslie Odom Jr., Phillipa Soo, Renee Elise Goldsberry, Daveed Diggs, Anthony Ramos, Okieriete Onaodowan, Jasmine Cephas Jones, Jonathan Groff, and the full Ensemble reunited bringing THE ROOM WHERE IT HAPPENS to this superfan's home with a special virtual performance of the show's iconic opening number ALEXANDER HAMILTON.

For fans of HAMILTON's original cast, you will also soon not have to WAIT FOR IT that long. As previously announced, it was revealed that the long awaited filmed performance of HAMILTON is expecting to be released somewhere in October 2021. The actual performance was filmed in the Summer of 2016 on the stage of the musical's Broadway home at the Richard Rodgers Theatre.

How amazing was that?
