The Theatre Etiquette Menaces are back again!!! The latest Audience misbehaved drama happened in Salt Lake City, Utah at the Eccles Theater during a performance of the 2nd National Tour of the Award winning smash hit Hamilton: An American Musical.
Audience members were checking their cell phones for the score of the Utah Jazz VS Houston Rockets Game. Actor Joseph Morales (who plays the title role of “Alexander Hamilton”) took to social media to call the rude audience members of Salt Lake City out.

Morales tweeted at 2:26 p.m. on Sunday afternoon that the Salt Lake City crowd wasn’t acting appropriately during Sunday’s matinee performance at the Eccles Theater.
BREAKING NEWS: The Tony and Grammy winning smash hit Dear Evan Hansen is about to become a worldwide hit across the globe. It has just been announced that the first International company outside of North America will be in London’s West End. No word on when the London company will happen, what theater it will be, or casting. For casting, it has been said that a UK actor will be playing the title role in the production.
For those who can’t get to see this powerful, emotional, and moving story at the Music Box Theatre in NYC, productions are set to open in Canada and a National Tour kicks off this Fall. The London company will be announced soon. Who is excited?

What a great moment that must have been. At the same time, it’s so sad to see a Broadway set being torn day.

BREAKING NEWS: Acclaimed Olivier Award nominee Charlie Stemp (who earned rave reviews starring in the West End revival of Half A Sixpence) is making his way overseas as he is set to join the cast of this year’s Tony winning Best Revival of a Musical, Hello, Dolly on Broadway. He will make his Broadway Debut replacing Taylor Trensch in the role of “Barnaby Tucker”.
Stemp will begin performances at the Shubert Theatre on January 20th, 2018, the same day Bernadette Peters and Victor Garber will start as the new “Dolly Levi” and “Horace Vandergelder”.
Trensch (who departs to join the cast of Dear Evan Hansen as the new “Evan” himself mid-January) will take his final bow along with Tony winners Bette Midler and David Hyde Pierce on January 14th, 2017.
