BREAKING NEWS: EVERYTHING WILL BE ALRIGHT indeed because it has just been announced that last year’s Tony nominated Lincoln Center Theater revival of William Finn and James Lapine cult musical hit Falsettos on Broadway is set to officially launch a US National Tour in 2019. No word has been announced yet for casting.
The musical tells the romantic, hilarious, dark, and dramatic story of a dysfunctional Jewish family where the husband (“Marvin”) divorces his wife (“Trina”) to be with his gay boyfriend (“Whizzer”) and friends (“Cordelia and Charlotte), their son (“Jason”) is about to have his Bar Mitzvah, and the family therapist (“Mendel”) that changes his wife’s life.
