BREAKING NEWS: You won’t have to feel like a NOBODY anymore because the Tony Award winning smash hit Bandstand Broadway is coming to Movie Theatres for one night only on June 25th, 2018. For those who weren’t able to see the show on Broadway, no worries, it was filmed during it’s final week of performances at the Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre last summer.

Get ready to get your SWINGIN’ groove on with high energy direction and choreography by it’s Tony winning genius Andy Blankenbuehler, powerhouse performances from it’s entire quadruple threat cast (led 2 time Tony nominee and Broadway sweetheart Laura Osnes and Broadway heartthrob Corey Cott), and more.

BANDSTAND tells the story of a group of veteran solders after World War II who form a swing band to compete in a national radio contest in New York City. The show featured an original score and book by Richard Oberacker and Robert Taylor.

The show originally had it’s world premiere at the Paper Mill Playhouse back in 2015 before making its way to Broadway last year in 2017 at the Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre running for 24 previews and 166 regular performances. Following its Broadway closing, plans coming up for the show will include a National Tour and licensing rights for schools, community, and regional theatres.

For those who weren’t able to see this SWINGIN’ hit, here is your chance.
