With the overwhelming response of last night’s historical re-opening of some of Broadway’s hottest tickets after 18 1/2 months of hell, it has just been announced that……
BroadwayCon is returning as an in-person event next year!!!
The 2022 edition of BroadwayCon is set for February 18th-20th, 2021 at the Manhattan Center / The New Yorker Hotel.
Tickets go on sale starting September 23rd, 2021.
For those who have never experienced BroadwayCon before, this is the ultimate convention extravaganza for all Theater lovers everywhere whether you’re a performer, musician, technician, or just love going to shows. This is your chance to mingle with some of your favorite performers, get a sneak peak of some of the most exciting talked about hottest shows coming your way, and the place for all those perusing careers in the Theater to network with one another. In addition, there’s plenty of panels, karaoke, fun, games, and much more. Of course, many of your favorite Broadway artists will all be there.
Last year’s event was cancelled as an in-person due to the COVID-19 pandemic. However, it was done as a virtual panel.

This new film adaptation of
Leonard Bernstein and
Stephen Sondheim‘s timeless dark romantic musical is set to be released December 10th, 2021! We have chills just watching it.
FUN FACT: NYBT’s very Michael is in the film. Look out for him as part of an extended group of “Jets” during the DANCE AT THE GYM scene.

THE NAME OF EVERYBODY’S LIPS IS GONNA BE…… BROADWAY!!! Last night, the company of the legendary long running revival of
Chicago re-REACHED FOR THE GUN playing their first historical performance back after 18 1/2 months. The production returns also at a very exciting time about to celebrate its 25th Anniversary later this Fall.
From the stage of the Ambassador Theatre, here is the cast taking their first curtain call back!! While the bows were happening, the cast even threw red roses petals both to their castmates and the crowd….. AND ALL THAT JAZZ!!!
Also, the show now installed a brand new LED lighting system featuring the show’s logo that rises and is placed in front of the usual plain black curtain.

REJOICIFY!!! The Award winning smash hit blockbuster
WICKED once again officially DEFIED GRAVITY on Broadway after 18 1/2 months. WE COULDN’T BE HAPPIER to experience all of the footage being shared from that magical first night back….. FOR GOOD.
It was a full non-stop rock concert of ovations, applause, and so much more.
From the stage of the Gershwin Theatre, here is the cast taking their historical first re-opening night curtain call. Due to the ovation still going crazy after the first curtain went down, they brought it back up again 3 minutes later with the cast and crew on stage together….. with a surprise appearance by the show’s composer
Stephen Schwartz.
