BREAKING NEWS: Tony Award nominee Orfeh is returning to Broadway in the highly anticipated stage musical adaptation of Pretty Woman joining the previously announced acclaimed West End and screen star Samantha Barks as “Vivian Ward” and Tony winner Steve Kazee as “Edward Lewis”.
Orfeh (last seen on Broadway 10 years ago in her scene stealing performance as “Paulette” in Legally Blonde) will take on the role of the wisecracking friend and roommate of “Vivian” that who has taught her the prostitution trade herself… “Kit De Luca” (the role made famous by Laura San Giacomo in the original 1990 film).
Pretty Woman The Musical is expecting to have it’s World Premiere pre-Broadway tryout in Chicago this Spring 2018. It will run at the Oriental Theatre from March 13th, 2018 through April 15th, 2018. From there, the show will go directly to Broadway Fall 2018. No date on when it’s scheduled to start it’s Broadway run or what Theater it will go into.
