BREAKING NEWS: She’s serving her last PIE A LA ROAD. Broadway veteran Desi Oakley is set to depart the National Tour of the Tony and Grammy nominated smash hit Waitress the Musical this Fall.
The actress (who also appeared in on Broadway in WICKED The Musical, the recent revival of Les Mis?rables US, and also the National Tour of the recent revival of Evita – The Musical) is set to take her final bow on September 27th, 2018 during the tour stop in Salt Lake City, Utah.
No word has been announced yet on who will take over from Oakley as the lead role of pregnant pie maker “Jenna” on the road.
Wishing Desi an incredible final few weeks touring. Who is sad to see her leave but excited about whatever her next adventures will be?
