BREAKING NEWS: Broadway’s biggest night returns to it’s usual home. The 71st Annual Tony Awards (presented by The Broadway League & The American Theatre Wing) will return to Radio City Music Hall this year on June 11th, 2017. And as always the ceremony will be aired live on CBS at 8pm. Who is excited?

FUN FACT: The Tony Awards has taken place at Radio City Music Hall since 1997. The only times that the ceremony was not held in the legendary venue in Rockefeller Center was in 1999 (due to Radio City going through a renovation. The ceremony that year was held in the Gershwin Theatre), 2011-2012 (due to Zarkana by Cirque du Soleil being booked there for the entire summer. The ceremony was held for both those years at The Beacon Theatre), and last year’s 2016 telecast (due to the Rockettes New York Spectacular being booked there all summer. The ceremony was brought back to the Beacon Theatre).
