HOW MUCH IS THAT DOGGY IN THE ALLEY?! Join Tony winner Bernadette Peters, her Mozart in the Jungle co-star Malcolm McDowell, and some of Broadway’s best as they come to Shubert Alley for the 19th Annual Broadway Barks.

This annual free event (produced by Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS) was created by Peters and the late Mary Tyler Moore where they team up with numerous animal shelters helping orphaned cats and dogs find loving and caring homes.

The event is tomorrow from 3pm-6pm. If you love Broadway and have dreams of having a pet of your own, this is your chance. In addition starting at 5pm, Peters, McDowell, and some of your favorite Broadway stars will take center stage for the presentation of all the numerous cats and dogs that are need of a home.

In addition, Amada and Michael will also be there.

‘Broadway Barks’ is Giving Broadway to the Dogs this Weekend

The sounds you’ll be hearing on Broadway this weekend may be quite a bit less than a falsetto, and more like a howl — but it’s all for a good cause.
