WHAT’S THE USE OF WOND’RIN? Due to recent low ticket sales, this year’s acclaimed Award winning revival of Rodgers & Hammerstein’s legendary dark musical Carousel on Broadway (starring Tony nominees Joshua Henry, Ren?e Fleming, Alexander Gemignani, and Tony winners Jessie Mueller and Lindsay Mendez) is set to BLOW HIGH, BLOW LOW one last time on September 16th, 2018 at the Imperial Theatre. Following the final bow, the production will have played 47 previews and 181 regular performances.

In addition, Carousel will have made history playing a complete total of 1,561 performances in New York City. That consists of…

the original 1946 production’s 840 performances,

the 1949 New York City Center production’s 68 performances,

the 1954 New York City Center production’s 79 performances,

the 1957 New York City Center production’s 24 performances,

the 1993 Tony winning Lincoln Center Theater revival’s 322 performances,

and this current revival lasting a total of 228 performances.
