2 time Tony winner Patti LuPone is the Officer of Theatre Etiquette. One of her infamous nights on the Great White Way was the night someone took 3 illegal pictures of the acclaimed star in the recent Broadway revival of Gypsy (the musical) while performing ROSE’S TURN and she famously stopped to the show to yell at the patrons. Audio was recorded of the famous rant but no actual video of the action. However with a little help from Bravo’s late-night talk show Watch What Happens Live, they put together a specially created video of Patti yelling. She also takes about her hate for electronics going off and disruptions during a live performance.
To all those who are going to see LuPone on Broadway this Spring in War Paint (at the Nederlander Theatre), don’t even think about pulling out those electronics (especially those cameras).

What is the recipe when you take a stage and screen legend and all new The Jim Henson Company Muppets?! It is Netflix new original series JULIE’S GREENROOM starring the legendary Dame Julie Andrews. This new show (created by Andrews and her daughter Emma Walton Hamilton) will be a celebration getting kids an introduction into the world of the performing arts.
The show stars Andrews as herself being a director and running her very own Performing Arts school. Her students are all new original puppet characters from Jim Henson’s Creature Show called the “Greenies”. In addition, the show will feature a variety of guest stars as guest teachers in the “Greenroom” from the worlds of Music, Dance, and Theatre.
Guest stars will include a lot Broadway’s very own including Idina Menzel, Josh Groban, Alec Baldwin, Tituss Burgess, and much more.

WHY I REMEMBER…Tony winner Sam Gold’s all new Broadway revival of Tennesse Williams’ classic play The Glass Menagerie on Broadway returns to Broadway for the 7th time as it officially begins preview performances at the Belasco Theatre tonight.
The new production (which will star Oscar winner Sally Field as Amanda, Tony winner Joe Mantello as Tom, Film and TV star Finn Wittrock as Jim (aka the Gentlemen caller), and newcomer Madison Ferris as Laura) will officially open March 9th, 2017, and will run for a limited 21 week engagement till July 2nd, 2017.

BREAKING NEWS: A US National Tour of the smash hit ON YOUR FEET! The Musical (the story of Gloria Estefan and Emilio Estefan Official Site) is officially set to launch this October where it all began for the Grammy winning couple in Miami, Florida.
It was also announced at a Press event yesterday for the show’s National Tour announcement that Miami born Christie Prades (who currently serves a Swing and the understudy for Ana Villafa?e on Broadway) will be headlining the new production as Gloria kicking it off in her hometown.
