The first show to be performed in this Theatre will be the acclaimed New York City Center semi-staged adaption of Stephen Sondheim’s Sunday in the Park with George Broadway starring Oscar and Golden Globe nominee Jake Gyllenhaal and Tony winner Annaleigh Ashford.
Previews will begin February 11th, 2017, Opening Night will be February 23rd, 2017, and will run for a limited 10 week engagement till April 23rd, 2017.

HAVE YOU HEARD?! The marquee for the highly most anticipated show of the season Anastasia The Musical went up today outside the Broadhurst Theatre.
On the marquee, it features the show’s 3 stars Christy Altomare as the title role (nicknamed Anya), Derek Klena as Dimitri, and Tony and Oliver Award nominee Ramin Karimloo as the show’s new sexy villain Gleb Vaganov.
ANASTASIA (based on the 1956 and 1997 films from 20th Century Fox) will begin previews on March 23rd, 2017 and officially opens April 24th, 2017 at the Broadhurst Theatre.

Track listing has been announced for the soundtrack of Disney’s upcoming live action remake of Beauty and the Beast (out March 17th, 2017).
The soundtrack will feature new recordings of some of your favorite songs from the 1991 animated film of the same name by Alan Menken and the late Howard Ashman. In addition, the film includes 3 new songs written especially for the film by Menken and Sir Tim Rice (Official). As previously mentioned, the songs that Menken and Rice wrote for the 1994 Broadway stage musical adaptation of BEAUTY AND THE BEAST will not be included in the film.
