In commemorating the 20th Anniversary of this scary time, the company of this powerful show will be doing a series of special events honoring the brave men, women, and heroes…. leading up to the show’s first night back on the Great Bright Way in 2 1/2 weeks. The itinerary will include….
the release of the filmed proshot performance on Apple TV+ on September 10th, 2021,
a set of performances on Good Morning America, a free concert at the Lincoln Memorial in Washington D.C., The Meat Pack Day Event on The Intrepid, and more,
several panels featuring the real people that inspired the musical,
and
a brand new album entitled COVERS FROM AWAY. Get ready to hear Irene Sankoff and David Hein’s powerful score like you never heard it before. It’s all reimagined covers of the beloved songs from the show from Newfoundland and Labrador artists.
COME FROM AWAY will reopen at Broadway’s Gerald Schonefeld Theatre starting September 21st, 2021.
