Over the last 2 decades, the magical world of Disney has wowed audiences with some of the most spectacular shows ever to hit the Great White Way. To celebrate, some of Broadway’s very own that have appeared in shows for Disney on Broadway took center stage at London’s Royal Albert Hall for a concert performing the greatest hits. The concert was recorded for BBC Radio 2’s FRIDAY NIGHT IS MUSIC NIGHT series.
The concert features Disney on Broadway alumni including Scarlet Strallen (Broadway and Mary Poppins – The Musical), Ashley Brown (Broadway’s Beauty and the Beast, Mary Poppins – The Musical, National Tour of the short lived Disney revue On The Record), Joshua Strickland (Broadway’s Tarzan), Alton Fitzgerald White (Broadway’s Longest Running “Mufassa” in The Lion King – Musical), Merle Dandridge (Broadway’s Aida – The Musical, Tarzan), the London cast of Aladdin – The Musical, and more.
