EXCITING NEWS THAT IS SO FETCH! The long awaited Broadway stage musical adaptation of the smash hit film Mean Girls is set for it’s official world premiere this fall in our Nation’s capitol. The show will run from October 31st-December 3rd, 2017 at the National Theatre in Washington DC before heading to Broadway. No word for when it will NYC right after.
Mean Girls on Broadway features a book by Tina Fey (who previously did the screenplay and starred as Math teacher “Ms. Norbury”), music by Fey’s husband Jeff Richmond, and lyrics by Tony nominee Nell Benjamin (who previously gave us Legally Blonde the Musical). In addition, the production will be directed and choreographed by Tony winner director Casey Nicholaw (The Book of Mormon on Broadway, Aladdin – The Musical, Something Rotten The Musical).
