BREAKING NEWS: This year’s Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade will be debuting an all new giant balloon of Frozen’s beloved snowman himself “Olaf”. The balloon is in promotion of Disney’s upcoming new Frozen short film OLAF’S FROZEN ADVENTURE which will be screened in Movie Theaters right before Disney’s new animated film Coco on November 22nd, 2017.

For Josh Gad (the voice of “Olaf” and Tony nominee of The Book of Mormon on Broadway), having his own character balloon is a dream come true moment for him.

In addition to having his own short film OLAF’S FROZEN ADVENTURE, you can experience “Olaf” and all his beloved friends from Arendelle as Frozen on Broadway finally hits NYC next year. For the Broadway production of FROZEN, the role of “Olaf” will be originated on stage by Broadway veteran Greg Hildreth (last seen as “Jean-Michel” in Cinderella the Musical).

FROZEN on Broadway just ended it’s world premiere out of town tryout in Denver and now it’s heading straight to the Big Apple where it will be coming to Broadway’s newly renovated St. James Theatre. Previews begin February 22nd, 2018 and Opening Night set for March 22nd, 2018.

This year’s 91st Annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade is set for Thursday, November 23rd, 2017 starting at 9am. Known as New York City’s MIRACLE ON 34TH STREET, the parade will feature over a thousands of participants from Clowns, Marching Bands, Dance Troupes, all star Celebrities, and our personal favorite Broadway performers. No word has been announced on who will be participating in this year’s parade yet. We will be sure to post once the announcement of the participants goes up especially for our favorite… the Broadway peeps.
