Paul Alexander Nolan (Broadway’s Bright Star: A New Musical, Once the Musical, and the recent revival of Jesus Christ Superstar) as the bartender-singer “Tully”,
Alison Luff (Broadway’s Les Mis?rables US, Matilda The Musical on Broadway, and Ghost the Musical, National Tour of WICKED The Musical) as the love interest “Rachel”,
Lisa Howard (It Shoulda Been You on Broadway and The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee) as “Tammy”,
Rema Webb (Broadway’s recent revival of The Color Purple Musical, Violet, The Book of Mormon on Broadway, and The Lion King – Musical) as “Marley”,
Don Spark (last seen on Broadway in Take Me Out) as “J.D”.,
and Andre Ward (Something Rotten The Musical) as “Jamal”,
In addition and new to the cast for the Broadway run will be Eric Thomas Petersen (Broadway’s Shrek the Musical, Peter and the Starcatcher, and currently wowing audiences as “Dewey Finn” in School of Rock the Musical) replacing Charlie Pollock as “Brick”.
In additional, the full Ensemble has been announced as well.
ESCAPE TO MARGARITAVILLE (featuring the music of Jimmy Buffett) will embark on a mini Pre-Broadway tryout tour this Fall playing…
New Orleans at the Saenger Theatre (October 20th – 28th, 2017),
Houston at Broadway at the Hobby Center (October 31st – November 5th, 2017),
and
Chicago at the Oriental Theatre (November 9th – December 2nd, 2017).
From there, show will then officially go to Broadway playing the Marquis Theatre. Previews will begin February 16th, 2018 and Opening Night set for March 15th, 2018.
