As previously mentioned yesterday, 3 time Tony winner Glenn Close stopped a performance of the current revival of Sunset Boulevard at the Palace Theatre due to an audience member taking illegal photographs of the actress on stage during her character’s iconic song WITH ONE LOOK asking in a kind in sarcastic way “Now we can have a show or we can have a photo shoot?”.

This was not Close’s first time stopping a performance of the show. The actress also previously did the same thing during a preview performance of the original production of SUNSET BOULEVARD at the Minskoff Theatre back in November 1994 during her character iconic entrance coming down the grand staircase due to a sea of flashbulbs. She stopped the show and also spoke in a sassy way “We can either have a press conference or continue with the show”. The audience applauded before the show continued.

How horrible is Theatre Etiquette lately?!
