BREAKING NEWS: This hasn't be revealed on any major Broadway source till just now. Broadway performer Derek Keeling has just passed away last month. No word has been said on how he passed away.

Keeling initially was well known by Broadway fans as being one of the contestants on the NBC casting reality show Grease: You're The One That I Want which casted the leading roles of both "Danny" and "Sandy" in the recent 2007 Broadway revival of GREASE. Keeling (known as WHOLESOME DANNY) finished in 3rd place. However, he went on to play "Danny" in that recent revival a year later in 2008 after Max Crumm ended his contract. He later went on to reprise the role on the National Tour. In addition to GREASE, Keeling also went on to appear in the National Tour of Million Dollar Quartet as "Johnny Cash".

Our prayers and condolences go out to Derek's family and friends. He was loved by so many people. An incredible performer. You will be missed.
