Tony Award winner Idina Menzel has been continuing to work with numerous new Contemporary Musical Theatre composers workshopping some new possible musicals being developed for the stage. She also expressed her possible interest of working with Tony Award winning composer Jason Robert Brown.
Menzel (currently on a World Tour in promotion for her 6th solo album) is already set to return to the New York stage in the Spring of next year in her first ever straight play. She will be starring in SKINTIGHT (by Significant Other on Broadway’s Joshua Harmon) for the Roundabout Theatre Company (also marking Menzel’s debut with company). It will play the Laura Pels Theatre at the Harold and Miriam Steinberg Center for Theatre. Previews will begin May 28th, 2018, Opening Night set for June 21st, 2018, and will run for a limited engagement till August 26th, 2018.
