Big Broadway stars still audition and get rejected even if they made it big. 2 time Tony Award nominee Laura Osnes (who returns to the Great White Way this Spring 2017 in Bandstand Broadway) is one of those actors still having gotten “No” even after her Broadway debut. The Broadway sweetheart auditioned for The Little Mermaid (to replace Sierra Boggess Official as Ariel), WICKED The Musical (to play G(a)linda), and Avenue Q (playing Kate Monster / Lucy The Slut). She did not get those roles but got even better roles.

If you want to know about the shows Osnes auditioned for and got rejected from, be sure to catch her updated version of her acclaimed solo show THE PATHS NOT TAKEN at Feinstein?s/54 Below starting tomorrow night till November 30th.

To all fellow actors out there, this is so inspiring to share. Never give up on your Broadway dreams even if those casting directors say “No”. KEEP GOING!!!
