BREAKING NEWS: Tony Award winner Leslie Odom Jr. (Hamilton: An American Musical) and American Idol’s Katherine McPhee (currently in Waitress the Musical) have been tapped to announce this year’s nominations for the 72nd Annual Tony Awards. The revealing of the nominations are set for May 1st, 2018 at the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts at Lincoln Center at 8:30am EST. It will be livestreamed on the Tony Awards website and social media pages along with appearing on several news channels.

In addition, the revealing of the nominations will hit the official 40 DAYS marks till the Tonys. Also on this day, we will be presenting our TOP 40 TONY AWARDS COUNTDOWN playing you the best performances from the past telecasts.

The 72nd Annual Tony Awards are set for June 10th, 2018 live from New York’s famed Radio City Music Hall. You can watch the broadcast on CBS that day.

FUN FACTL For this year’s presenters Leslie Odom Jr. and Katherine McPhee, both talents are no strangers to working with each other. They previously played BOMBSHELL and HIT LIST co-stars and best friends “Sam Strickland” and “Karen Cartwright” on the short lived NBC musical drama Smash.
