S’WONDERFUL NEWS!!! The Tony Award winning stage adaptation of the Gershwin’s An American in Paris is heading to the big screen.
A performance of current West End production of An American in Paris UK was recently filmed featuring the original London cast which starred the show’s original Broadway leads Tony nominees Robert Fairchild and Leanne Cope reprising their roles of “Jerry Mulligan” and “Lise Dassin”. No official release date has been announced yet.
For those who did not get to see An American In Paris on Broadway which it ran for an amazing 2 years and 652 performances at the Palace Theatre, here is your chance to experience this beautiful show in a movie theater near you.
The show itself is still playing in London’s West End at the Dominion Theatre till January 2018. It is also currently on a US National Tour across America.
