YOU CAN DRIVE A PERSON CRAZY especially when its comes to a casting announced. A few days ago, it was revealed that Manu Narayan (Broadway’s Bombay Dreams, the recent revival of My Fair Lady, and Gettin’ The Band Back Together) has been tapped to join the Broadway return of the gender-swap revival of Stephen Sondheim‘s Company.
Narayan completes the casting taking over in the role of the out-of-place and small town boy “Theo” (formerly known usually as “Kathy”). He succeeds original Broadway cast member Kyle Dean Massey who departed the production due to family time. As previously announced, Massey and his husband Taylor Frey is expecting his first child.
Marianne Elliott‘s critically acclaimed production of COMPANY (starring Tony winners Katrina Lenk and Patti LuPone) will resume previews on November 15th, 2021 and officially open on December 9th, 2022 at Broadway’s Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre.
Congrats Manu!! Welcome to COMPANY!!
Happy Trails Kyle Dean!!
