ON THE MARQUEE: Broadway is celebrating the legacy of a true musical icon….. the late, legendary, and one and only Dolly Parton. A lifelong wish is being fulfill as her rags to riches story will be celebrated in the brand new musical appropriately named DOLLY!!!

During our Broadway 101 Walking Tour, we just happened to see the front of house billboards go up outside the show’s soon to be home at Broadway’s St. James Theatre, which includes the beautiful silhouette of the late Country star, some of her most spiritual quotes, and a first look of the incredible cast consisting of…..

Former WICKED “Glinda’s” themselves Katie Rose Clarke and Carrie St. Louis, alongside newcomer Norah Nunes, who will play “Dolly Parton” in 3 different eras of her life.

The cast also stars….

John Behlmann (Broadway’s The Great Gatsby and Smash) as “Carl Dean”

&

Tony winner Gabriel Ebert (Broadway’s Matilda and John Proctor is the Villian) as “Porter Wagoner”.

DOLLY begins previews December 7th, 2026 and will officially open on January 19th, 2027, which would have been the real Dolly Parton’s 81st Birthday.
