Get a FIRST LOOK at a production photo from the Broadway premiere of Anastasia The Musical.
The photo features Christy Altomare as “Anya” along with Derek Klena as “Dmitry”, John Bolton as “Vlad”, and the cast in a scene when they all go to the ballet at the Paris Opera House.
FUN FACT: For the Broadway transfer, the most talked about change was Anya’s ballet gown going back to blue (as what she wore in the 1997 Animated film). For the pre-Broadway run in Hartford, Anya’s gown was pink.
From what he have heard so far from people who have seen the show on Broadway, the audience that are super fans of the movie give Altomare huge applause when she steps on stage in that iconic gown.
ANASTASIA is currently in previews and set to open on April 24th, 2017 at the Broadhurst Theatre.
