As previously announced, the show will make it’s premiere in Japan in 2019.

Other companies that have just been announced include London, China, the Philippines, and a few sit down companies set to open in the US.

Following 2 sold out Off Broadway runs at Ars Nova and in the Kazino pop-up Theatre as well as a regional engagement at American Repertory Theater in Cambridge, MA, THE GREAT COMET arrived on Broadway 1 year ago playing the Imperial Theatre starring acclaimed vocalist Josh Groban in his long awaited Broadway debut. The show went on to receive the most Tony Awards nominations winning only 2 technical awards. It closed after 368 performances total due to low ticket sales and a horrible casting controversy.
