Check out the all new Billboard between 46th and 47th streets in Times Square that went up featuring Waitress the Musical’s composer and newest leading lady Sara Bareilles who officially joins the cast tomorrow night as the new pregnant pie maker herself “Jenna” at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre for a limited 10 week stint till June 11th, 2017.
WAITRESS has been credited as Bareilles’ Broadway Debut as a composer and now as an actress.
Bareilles take over from the show’s original leady lady Tony winner Jessie Mueller who played her final performance this past Sunday. For the last 3 days, the lead role of “Jenna” has been played by Ensemble member Stephanie Torns.
