ON THE MARQUEE: Earlier this week, the Broadway company of the Award winning smash hit Beautiful – The Carole King Musical welcomed back Chilina Kennedy to the lead role of Grammy winning singer /songwriter “Carole King”. Kennedy spent the summer on the National Tour playing the role in her hometown of Toronto, Canada. Check out the front of house billboards outside the Stephen Sondheim Theatre that went up for her return.
In addition, WICKED The Musical and original Newsies star Kara Lindsay took over the role of acclaimed singer/songwritter “Cynthia Weil”. However, no photo of her was put up outside the Theater yet.

The company of Disney’s highly anticipated Broadway stage musical adaptation of Frozen had it’s officially opening night of it’s Pre-Broadway tryout in Denver at the Buell Theatre at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts. The show will play their through October 1st, 2017. Check out the cast backstage and onstage as they take their opening night bows right here.
Frozen on Broadway will officially arrive in New York City Winter 2018. Previews begin on February 22nd, 2017 and Opening Night set for March 22nd, 2018 at Broadway’s St. James Theatre.

Celebrating with CHEESEBURGERS IN PARADISE. The company of Escape to Margaritaville: The Musical (featuring the music of Jimmy Buffett) began their first day of rehearsals yesterday for what will be an exciting year for them all.
Following a sold out run at La Jolla Playhouse last year, ESCAPE TO MARGARITTAVILLE will embark on a mini pre-Broadway tryout tour this Fall with stops in New Orleans (October 20th – 28th), Houston (October 31st – November 5th), and Chicago (November 9th – December 2nd).
From there, the show will officially arrive on Broadway at the Marquis Theatre. Previews begin February 16th, 2018 and Opening Night set for March 25th, 2018.

Everyone’s favorite dreamers are making their way to the stage. The musical adaptation of the acclaimed TV series The Honeymooners is set to make it’s World Premiere run at Paper Mill Playhouse this Fall from September 28th, 2018 through October 29th, 2017.
THE HONEYMOONERS musical will feature a score by Stephen Weiner, lyrics by Peter Mills, a book by Dusty Kay and Bill Nuss, choreography by Emmy Award winner Joshua Bergasse, and direction by Tony Award winner John Rando.
