Break a leg to the company of Escape to Margaritaville: The Musical as they kick off their mini pre-Broadway tryout Fall tour in New Orleans, Louisiana at the Saenger Theatre through October 28th, 2017.
From there, the new musical (featuring the greatest hits and original songs by acclaimed singer/songwriter Jimmy Buffett) will then make it’s way to…
Houston, Texas from October 31st, 2017 – November 5th, 2017 at the Hobby Center,
Chicago, Illinois at the Oriental Theatre from November 9th, 2017 through December 2nd, 2017,
and then officially bringing paradise to Broadway’s Marquis Theatre Winter 2018. The show will begin it’s Broadway previews on February 19th, 2018 and Opening Night set for March 15th, 2018.
Check out the fast at their first Sitzprobe rehearsal here in New York City a few weeks ago before they left for NOLA. For those who may now know, Sitzprobe is the first rehearsal where the cast and the band meet and bring their sounds together. How amazing is Jimmy Buffett’s score with full orchestrations?

Congrats to the West End company of WICKED The Musical making London Theatre History as the 15th Longest Running West End show at the Apollo Victoria Theatre. To all of our friends in the UK who aren’t able to come see it here on Broadway, be sure to go see Wicked UK in London or when it comes to a city near you with the UK/Ireland Tour returning this year.

Today, #WickedUK becomes the 15th longest running show in London theatre history.

WE’LL DRINK TO THAT! Stephen Sondheim’s legendary musical COMPANY is making it’s way back to London’s West End next year in an all new production. This time, it’s going to be GENDER SWAPPED!! Several roles have been switched opposite sex including the lead role of “Bobby” now going by “Bobbi” and “April” now going by “Andy”.
The cast will feature Rosalie Craig in the lead role of “Bobbi” as well as 2 time Tony and Olivier Award winner Patti LuPone (following the final performance of War Paint this December) in the role of “Joanne”, a role she previously played in the acclaimed 2011 New York Philharmonic production.
This production is set to begin performances at London’s Gielgud Theatre on September 26, 2018.

THE SUN HAS WENT DOWN for the company of the smash hit Groundhog Day Musical. Check out the final onstage SNOWBALL FIGHT / curtain call at the August Wilson Theatre.
GROUNDHOG DAY closes after shameful low tickets and walking home empty-handed at this year’s Tony Awards even though it got positive vibe. The show played a total of 208 performances here on Broadway. Coming up next for the show (based on the film of the same name) will be an 18 month National Tour set to kick off across America in 2018.
