Get ready for a date like no other as Joshua Harmon’s smash hit play Significant Other on Broadway officially opens tonight at the Booth Theatre. The shows come to Broadway following an acclaimed Off Broadway run from Roundabout Theatre Company back in 2015.

The cast features Gideon Glick (original “Ernst” in the original production of Spring Awakening Broadway), Lindsay Mendez (Broadway’s Godspell, Grease, 10th Anniversary “Elphaba” in WICKED The Musical, Off Broadway’s Dogfight The Musical), Rebecca Naomi Jones, (HEDWIG on Broadway, American Idiot The Musical, Passing Strange), Barbara Barrie (original “Sarah” in the original production of Company), and much more.

Date Set for 2017 Broadway Backwards Concert

BREAKING NEWS: The 12th Annual Broadway Backwards concert has been announced for March 13th, 2017 at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre (home of Kinky Boots on Broadway).

The concert which is a benefit for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS and The Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual & Transgender Community Center features some of your favorite Broadway performers singing some of your favorite Broadway songs sung by opposite genders (with Guys singing Girls songs, Girls singing Guy songs).

No word has been announced yet who is expecting to perform. Who is excited?

Telly Leung Sets Return Date to IN TRANSIT

BREAKING NEWS: Telly Leung is set to return to the cast of In Transit Broadway at Circle in the Square on January 31st, 2017.

The Glee, Allegiance – A New Musical, and Godspell star has been on a temporary leave of absence from the show for a month and a half due to a family emergency. Colin Hanlon (recently in the revival of Falsettos on Broadway) has been filling in for Leung in the role of “Steven”.

With Leung returning, no possible plans have been made at the time being for the actor to join the cast of Aladdin – The Musical.
