BREAKING NEWS: The most THRILLIFYING Broadway Blockbuster of all time that is WICKED The Musical is about to celebrate another historical Broadway milestone this week.

Tomorrow night, February 9th, 2018, the legendary Stephen Schwartz musical will play it’s 5,960th performance at the Gershwin Theatre surpassing the original production of OH CALCUTTA as the 7th Longest Running Show in Broadway History!!

WE COULDN’T BE HAPPIER for this show as it continues to sell out every night and help people feel like we HAVE BEEN CHANGED FOR GOOD.

BREAKING NEWS: A cast change has been announced for the company of the 1st National Tour of the Award winning smash hit Hamilton: An American Musical.

The new cast will feature a new lineup led by…

Austin Scott (veteran of the Chicago company) will take on the title role of “Alexander Hamilton” (replacing Michael Luwoye who departs the 1st National Touring cast to rejoin the Broadway company starting January 16th, 2018 at the Richard Rodgers Theatre),

and

Nicholas Christopher (currently wrapping up his run playing GI “John” in the Tony nominated revival of Miss Saigon US) will return to THE ROOM WHERE IT HAPPENS this time to play the show’s narrator and villain himself “Aaron Burr, SIR” replacing Tony nominee Joshua Henry (who departed to gear up for the revival of Carousel on Broadway this Spring). For Christopher in the world of HAMILTON, he previously played “General George Washington” in the Broadway production”

Also joining the 1st National Touring company will be a bunch of fresh new faces including…

Julia K. Harriman as “Eliza Schuyler Hamilton” replacing Solea Pfeiffer,

Sabrina Sloan as “Angelica Schuyler” replacing longtime HAMILTON veteran Emmy Raver-Lampman,

and Chris De’Sean Lee in the dual roles of “Marquis de Lafayette” / “Thomas Jefferson” replacing Jordan Donica.

The new fresh faces of the 1st National Tour of HAMILTON are all scheduled to begin this month.

This was in the early 90’s during the show’s sit down LA production. He opened the doors later on for Norm Lewis (who made history as the first African American actor in the Broadway cast) and Derrick Davis (in the current US National Tour). Congrats to the West End company of WICKED The Musical making London Theatre History as the 15th Longest Running West End show at the Apollo Victoria Theatre. To all of our friends in the UK who aren’t able to come see it here on Broadway, be sure to go see Wicked UK in London or when it comes to a city near you with the UK/Ireland Tour returning this year.


Today, #WickedUK becomes the 15th longest running show in London theatre history.
We are filled with gratitution for all the audience members who have joined us on the journey so far.
