HAVE YOU HEARD?: Zach Adkins and acclaimed Stage and Screen star Vicki Lewis are set to join the company of Anastasia The Musical later this month.
Adkins, who appears in the Ensemble every night and covers the role of the handsome conman turned modern day prince charming “Dmitry” will take on the role fulltime succeeding Derek Klena (who departs to join the cast of an upcoming TBA new original musical)
and
Lewis (Broadway’s Chicago The Musical, Damn Yankees, and TV’s NewsRadio) will replace Caroline O’Connor (who leaves to join the cast of an upcoming London revival of Kander & Ebb’s THE RINK) in the scene stealing role of the wise cracking Countess “Lily Malevsky-Malevitch” (formerly known from the 1997 Animated film as “Sophie”).
Adkins and Lewis are set to begin performances on March 27th, 2018 at the Broadhurst Theatre.
Original cast members Klena and O’Connor will take their final bows on March 25th, 2018.

BREAKING NEWS: Legendary rock group Huey Lewis & The News are making their way to Broadway with an all new original musical HEART OF ROCK & ROLL. The show is currently still being developed featuring an exciting Broadway creative team including….
direction by Gordon Greenberg (Broadway’s Holiday Inn),
and an original story by Jonathan Abrams and Tyler Mitchell.
No word has been mentioned on what casting, theaters, opening, or the exactly details on the plot of the musical but HEART OF ROCK & ROLL is expecting to feature a lineup of some of your favorite Huey Lewis & The News songs including THE POWER OF LOVE, STUCK WITH YOU, IF THIS IS IT, HIP TO BE A SQUARE, and much more.
For Huey Lewis, he is no stranger to being on the Great White Way. He previously made his acting debut on Broadway from 2005-2006 starring as “Billy Flynn” in the long running revival of Chicago The Musical. In addition, his band’s hit song HIP TO BE A SQUARE was also featured on Broadway 2 years in American Psycho – The Musical

BREAKING NEWS: The current acclaimed revival of Once On This Island Broadway have already announced it’s first replacements.
Tony Award nominee Norm Lewis (known as Broadway’s first African American The Phantom of the Opera and last seen in the intimate Off Broadway revival of Sweeney Todd NYC) will be filling in for Quentin Earl Darrington in the role of “Agwa, the God of Water”
and
American Idol favorite Tamyra Gray (Broadway’s Bombay Dreams, Rent, and last seen on the National Tour of If/Then Musical) will be filling in for Merle Dandridge Johnston in the role of “Papa Ge, The God of Death”.
Lewis and Gray will both begin performances together on January 8th, 2018 at Circle in the Square Theatre . Dandridge and Darrington will be taking a contractual leave of absence from the show and will return at a later date. No word has been confirmed on how long Lewis and Gray will be staying or when Dandridge and Darrington will return.

BREAKING NEWS: Beginning August 29th, 2017, one of The Phantom of the Opera’s longest running masked men himself Hugh Panaro is set to take over the title role in the acclaimed intimate Off Broadway revival of Sweeney Todd NYC transforming the Barrow Street Theatre into a working pie shop.
Panaro will replace fellow Phantom, friend and The Muny’s Les Miserables – Musical co-star Tony nominee Norm Lewis who raises his knife up for the last time on August 13th, 2017.
Prior before Panaro’s first performance, David Michael Garry will be chopping off heads and turning them into pies from August 15th-27th, 2017.
When Panaro begins his run, Tony nominee Carolee Carmello will continue to star as “Mrs. Lovett”. Carmello and Panaro previously worked together on the short lived Broadway musical Lestat back in 2006. Current cast members still continuing with the show will include Stacie Bono as “Pirelli” & “The Beggar Woman” and John-Michael Lyles as “Tobias”. In addition, there will be a full lineup of new cast members on the same day as Panaro including…
Jake Boyd (Rock of Ages) replacing Matt Doyle as “Anthony”,
Eryn LeCroy (recently in the New York City Center Encores presentation of Assassins) replacing Alex Finke as “Johanna”,
Michael James Leslie (Senator Joe) replacing Jamie Jackson as “Judge Turpin”,
and John Rapson (Les Mis?rables US) will replace Tony nominee Brad Oscar as “The Beadle”.
Oscar will play his final performance on August 20th, 2017. Prior before Rapson’s first performance, Colin Anderson will go on as “The Beadle” from August 21st – 27th, 2017. For Doyle, Finke, and Jackson, they will play their final performances on August 27th, 2017.
