BREAKING NEWS: Merle Dandridge is set to return to the 8 time Tony nominated revival of Once On This Island Broadway next month. The actress (known from Broadway’s Rent and Tarzan along with TV’s Greenleaf on OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network) will return to the role (she originated in this revival) of the wicked “Papa Ge: The Goddess of Death” for a strictly limited engagement from June 18th, 2018 – August 19th, 2018 at Circle in the Square Theatre.
The show’s current “Papa Ge” American Idol favorite Tamyra Gray (who initially was temporary filling for Dandridge will she was filming Season 3 of Greenleaf) will take a leave of absence this summer but will return August 20th, 2018.

Merle Dandridge to Return to ONCE ON THIS ISLAND for Limited Engagement
The producers of Broadway’s Once On This Island announced today that Merle Dandridge will return to the Tony Nominated production for a limited time from June 18 – August 19. Current cast member Tamyra Gray will return as Papa Ge on August 20.

The Tony nominated revival of Miss Saigon US ended it’s strictly limited engagement on Broadway last month. Up next, this 25th Anniversary staged revival by Cameron Mackintosh will be continuing to live THE AMERICAN DREAM as a new US National Tour of this production will be launching this Fall.
According to several recent audition posts and the show’s website, the National Tour of the recent revival of Miss Saigon – Musical will officially launch in Providence, Rhode Island this September 2018. Throughout touring across North America, the show will be making it’s way to Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and more.

BREAKING NEWS: Broadway veteran David Josefsberg (Motown the Musical, Les Mis?rables US) has been tapped to join the Broadway cast of Waitress the Musical this week. From November 3rd – 19th, 2017, Josefsberg will be filling in for Tony nominee Christopher Fitzgerald as the showstopping, magical, and scene stealing “Ogie” at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre. No word on why Fitzgerald will be out. Who is excited?

BREAKING NEWS: As of Tuesday, July 11th, 2017 through August 13th, 2017, Waitress the Musical Ensemble member Jeremy Morse has been currently temporary taking on the role of the high energetic and scene stealing “Ogie”. The show’s original cast star Tony nominee Christopher Fitzgerald is on a temporary leave of absence from the show but is scheduled to return to the Brooks Atkinson Theatre on August 15th, 2017.
