Six the musical composer steps in to save the show after cast illness

BREAKING NEWS: Last night, the London company of the hottest girl power musical SIX experienced one of the most unique performances in the show's history.

On the stage of London's Arts Theatre, the show's co-composer Olivier Award nominee Toby Marlow stepped into one of the main roles at a last minute notice to play the role of the "Queen Catherine Parr". Maiya Quansah-Breed (who usually plays the role) was on vacation, 2 of her main standbys were ill, and another understudy was already on for the role of "Jane Seymour". Marlow went on last night and will be on again tonight. This shows that THE SHOW MUST GO ON!!!

With Marlow on as "Catherine Paar" and not knowing majority of the blocking, the entire production was changed to becoming more of a semi-staged concert production.

SIX The Musical Announces Twin Cities Run; EVER AFTER At The Ordway Postponed

BREAKING NEWS: SIX is getting its feet wet to North American audiences before heading to the Big Apple. The smash hit GIRL POWER musical (that originally got its start in the UK) is set to play St. Paul, Minnesota this Holiday season. It's scheduled to play a limited engagement the Ordway Center for the Performing Arts from November 29th – December 22nd, 2019.

In addition for its St. Paul run, SIX will replace the initial show scheduled to go into the Ordway which was the musical adaptation of the 1998 film EVER AFTER (also expecting to hit Broadway) which will now move for the next season (so the creative team can have extended time on changes and rewrites).

SIX (the pop concert experience exploring the lives of the six ex-wives of King Henry VIII) previously had its North American Premiere in Chicago this past Spring at the Chicago Shakespeare Theater. It's also expecting to hit Cambridge, MA at the American Repertory Theater later this Summer running from August 21st – September 27th, 2019. Talks are also made for the production to hit the New York Stage. No word has been announced if it's going to be performed either ON or OFF Broadway. In addition, no word has been made if anyone from Chicago or Cambridge will also be taking part in the St. Paul run.

Moulin Rouge! Musical Will Open in Australia in 2021

COME WHAT MAY!!!! Moulin Rouge The Musical has just officially opened as the first new musical of the 2019-2020 Broadway season earning RAVE REVIEWS and playing to sold out houses 8 times a week at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre.

And now, it has just been announced that sit-down International productions is in the works. The first of many upcoming international productions lined up will go back to where it all began…. and perfect timing in celebration for the 20th Anniversary of the 2001 Oscar winning Baz Luhrmann film (of what the musical is based off of)?.. AUSTRALIA!!!! It will open in Melbourne, Australia at the Regent Theatre during the 2020-2021 season.
