FOR THE FIRST TIME IN 15 YEARS, THEY STILL FEEL WICKED! Earlier last week, WICKED The Musical’s original leading couple Tony winner Idina Menzel and 2 time Tony winner Norbert Leo Butz reunited on stage at B.B. King Blues Club & Grill in NYC at a Karaoke event in support of Menzel’s charity A BroaderWay Foundation. Together, they recreated that onstage romance they last shared on stage 15 years ago singing the show’s romantic Act 2 duet AS LONG AS YOU’RE MINE. How THRILLIFYING it is to see the original “Elphaba” and “Fiyero” together again?!!
What a great night it was celebrating A BroaderWay with Idina Menzel and Norbert Leo Butz. So thankful to everyone who performed!

BREAKING NEWS: Robin De Jesus is set to return to WICKED The Musical. This time, the 2 time Tony nominated actor who previously played the lovable human-sized Munchkin “Boq” in the Broadway company will reprise the role on the National Tour starting May 2nd, 2017 in Minneapolis. De Jesus will remain with the production till June 4th, 2017 when the show wraps up its engagement in Buffalo, NY.
Previous “Boq” Smash favorite Andy Minetus played his final performance today.

Willemijn Verkaik (my own page!) returns to Wicked UK’s West End production tonight as “Elphaba” at London’s Apollo Victoria Theatre. She succeeds Rachel Tucker who ended her limited stint return last night.
Verkaik has played the role of the smart, fiery, and misjudged green girl who grows up to become the “Wicked Witch of the West” since 2007. She is the only actress ever to have performed the role in 3 different languages (German, Dutch, and English), in 4 different productions worldwide (Germany, Holland, in New York on Broadway, and London’s West End), and over 2,000 performances.
She returns to the West End production tonight and the role since 2014. Her initial London engagement was cut short due to a back injury.
