Beginning July 22nd, 2019 at London's Apollo Victoria Theatre, the new cast change will consist of…
Helen Woolf taking on the role of the POPULAR and bubbly blonde gal "Glinda" (a role she previously played on the UK & Ireland Touring company),
Nikki Bentley taking on the role of the green faced smart, fiery, misunderstood, and not so Wicked Witch of the West herself "Elphaba" (a role she previously played on the UK & Ireland Touring company),
Alistair Brammer (Broadway and West End revival of Miss Saigon – Musical) as the heartthrob winkie prince "Fiyero",
Kim Ismay (alumni of the UK & Ireland Touring company) as the mischievous headmistress and sorcerer " Madame Morrible",
Idriss Karagbo as the adorable mere munchkin "Boq" (a role he previously played on the West End and made WICKED history as the first actor of Color to play the role),
Simeon Truby as the caring history teaching goat himself "Doctor Dillamond"
and Carina Gillespie rolling in the wheelchair as the Wicked Witch of the East herself "Nessarose" (a role she previously played on the UK & Ireland Tour).

KISS HER GOODBYE! Today is a very bittersweet day for the Broadway community as r Jessica Vosk flies out of Broadway's biggest blockbuster WICKED The Musical. For the celebrate performer who plays the smart, fiery, and very misunderstood green faced "Elphaba" for the show's 15th Anniversary (following coming off the Munchkinland 2nd National Tour), it truly was a long journey to DEFYING GRAVITY from Wall Street to performing 8 times a week at the Gershwin Theatre. Beginning this Tuesday night, May 14th, 2019, the role of "Elphaba" will be taken over by Hannah Corneau (Off Broadway's Daddy Long Legs The Musical and Renascence, The National Tour of HEDWIG on Broadway).

THRILLIFYING NEWS: Hannah Corneau (Off Broadway's Daddy Long Legs The Musical, Renascence, and seen on the National Tour of HEDWIG on Broadway) has been tapped to make her Broadway Debut in the smash hit WICKED The Musical next month. The newcomer to the Stephen Schwartz blockbuster will take over the role of the smart, fiery, misunderstood, green faced, and not-so Wicked Witch of the West herself "Elphaba" beginning May 14th, 2019 at the Gershwin Theatre. Corneau will become the 21st actress in total who has played the iconic Green Girl fulltime on the stage of the Gershwin Theatre.
The Broadway company's current and 15th Anniversary "Elphaba" herself Jessica Vosk will DEFY GRAVITY for the last time on May 12th, 2019.

The newcomer (who previously scored a Drama Desk nomination for her performance in Miss You Like Hell and recently seen in the dual roles of "Kate Monster" and "Lucy The Slut" in Avenue Q) makes her Broadway Debut rolling in a wheelchair and ruling Oz as The Wicked Witch of the East herself "Nessarose".
