THROWBACK THURSDAY: Bette Midler brought down the house this past Sunday with a hilarious 6 minute acceptance speech for BEST LEADING ACTRESS IN A MUSICAL for Hello, Dolly on Broadway. As the orchestra played the exit music, she was so committed, continued the speech, and even told the orchestra to “SHUT THAT C*** OFF”!! How awesome is Bette Midler?!!
