Tony Award winner Lea Salonga (Miss Saigon US and recently in Allegiance – A New Musical) returns to Broadway in this production as “Erzulie” (the Goddess of Love),
Alex Newell (known for playing “Unique” on Glee) will make his Broadway Debut as “Asaka” (the Mother of the Earth),
Quentin Earl Darrington (currently playing “Old Dueteronomy in the revival of Cats the Musical) as “Agwe” (The God Of Water),
and
Merle Dandridge Johnston (Broadway’s Rent and Tarzan) as “Papa Ge” (the Demon of Death).
Salonga, Newell, Darrington, and Dandridge will join the previously announced…
Tony nominee Phillip Boykin-The Boy Can Entertain (The Gershwins’ Porgy and Bess on Broadway and On The Town – The Musical Comedy Classic) as “Tonton Julian”,
Alysha Deslorieux (Hamilton: An American Musical) as “Andrea”,
Kenita R. Miller (Off Broadway’s The Bubbly Black Girl Sheds Her Chameleon Skin) as “Mama Euralie”
newcomer Isaac Powell as the love interest “Daniel”
and a full Ensemble.

The new revival of ONCE ON THIS ISLAND will begin previews on November 9th, 2017 and open on December 3rd, 2017 at Broadway’s Circle in the Square Theatre.
