The Award winning smash hit phenomenon that is Hamilton: An American Musical is already has plans to possibly finally hit the big screen either in 2020 or 2021. The movie is expecting to be the filmed performance of the Broadway production that was recorded back in June 2016 at the Richard Rodgers Theatre. Yup, it was filmed right before most of the original cast (led by Tony winners Lin-Manuel Miranda, Leslie Odom Jr, Ren?e Elise Goldsberry, and Daveed Diggs, Tony nominees Phillipa Soo and Jonathan Groff, along with Okieriete Onaodowan, Anthony Ramos, Jasmine Cephas Jones, and more).

No word has been said the official dates of the release of the filmed performance or whether it will be released in Movie Theaters or will get streamed on websites (like Netflix).
