WORD ON THE STREET: A few days ago, the Tony winning Lincoln Center Theater revival of Rodgers & Hammerstein’s The King and I the Musical was filmed for an upcoming release for Movie Theaters.

The production was filmed in London’s West End at The London Palladium (where it continues to run there through September 29th, 2018) starring its original Broadway leads who made the transfer to the UK consisting of Tony and Oscar nominee Ken Watanabe along with its Tony winning stars Kelli O’Hara and Ruthie Ann Miles.

For those who weren’t able to see the acclaimed production of this iconic musical that played the Vivian Beaumont Theatre for 538 performances or see the National Touring companies, this is your chance.

No word has been official announced on when the filmed performance will be released.
