THE KING HAS RETURNED! There is more celebrating going on here in the Big Apple today as we welcome back Broadway’s hottest tickets reopening tonight. Earlier this morning, the cast of Disney’s Award winning phenomenon The Lion King got everyone to RISE & SHINE as the sun went up on this very special day.
In celebration of this historical triumphant return to PRIDE ROCK this evening, here is Tshidi Manye as “Rafiki” and the full Broadway cast taking over New York City on Good Morning America singing the show’s powerful and iconic opening number CIRCLE OF LIFE.
THE LION KING is set to make audiences once again ROAR at the Minskoff Theatre. It’s US National Tour is also set to return later this year. This marks as the 2nd production to re-open following the London company this past Summer.
